We have found TWO great accessory packs that work perfectly with BLD's Basic and Mobility harnesses. Perfectly sized to hold ID, money, a phone, poop bags, extra harness knobs, and some treats.
Sherpani ZOE Bag:
This little pack/pouch fits our Mobility Support Harness and is perfect for carrying a few essentials. It is like a large wallet. Measures 6.5 wide by 4x5 long x1” deep. Unzips to reveal an 8x4” pocket, ID holders, small zippered pocket, key clip, and elastic band to hold a phone.
Sherpani UNO Bag:
This pack/pouch has one roomy compartment for your gear. Measures 7 wide by 5.5" long x 2.5” deep. Open the magnetic flap to reveal an 7x4” pocket that zips closed to keep your items safe. Also has a small zippered pocket on the front for money or Id's. You can sew an ID patch to the flap of this pouch if you wish.
These pouches are the best option we've found for accessorizing our harness desgins. The designs are low profile, lightweight, and not too bulky. Most importantly, these packs do not affect the function or balance of the harness.
Super easy to attach to the back of the harness saddle (BLD harnesses include a velcro tab) and rests on the dog's back . Attaches with velcro loops, easy to remove too. You can add your own service dog patch to the outside. An I-Phone and drivers licence is shown in photos for size reference.
These pouches do not interfere with the pull-strap or the folding handle. Since it sits on TOP of the dog's back, it does not rub your leg or shift the harness to the side. Hooray!
